Why solo founders? Can I apply with a team?
The old rule of finding a co-founder first no longer holds. We want you validating the idea, not chasing capital and co-founders.
Odyssey is for individuals only. CoFound also leads and co-invests in pre-seed and seed teams, so reach out directly if you want to pitch.
How much do you invest?
$500K is our standard check. If your idea needs a larger raise, we can add co-investors and angels.
Where do I need to be based?
We prefer founders who can reside in major US tech markets. We do not sponsor visas at this time.
Can I apply while employed or in an academia program?
Yes, please do! Applications stay confidential and we run no backchannel references without your permission. If funded, we do expect you to go full-time.
Can I apply if I already raised capital, or was part of another incubator or accelerator?
It's not a deal breaker. We encourage you to apply and we will try to make it work.
